Recife
What time is it in Brazil
About Recife
Recife keeps UTC-3 year-round, skipping Brazil's old DST rules that southern cities once followed. New York noon equals 1 PM here in summer, 2 PM once US clocks fall back. Recife's Boa Viagem business strip runs 08:30 to 17:30; many offices close early on Fridays as temperatures peak around 14:00.
