About Naypyidaw
Naypyidaw is the capital and third-largest city of Myanmar, at the centre of the Naypyidaw Union Territory. It is an entirely planned city and belongs to no state or region. It replaced Yangon as the administrative capital on 6 November 2005, and its official name was made public on 27 March 2006. The Assembly of the Union, the Supreme Court and the Presidential Palace are there. The offset is UTC+6:30 all year, because Myanmar does not use daylight saving time.
